Convergence Consulting Group (CCG) was formed to answer a growing need in organizations to provide consulting support through all stages of organizational development, including implementation.
Regardless of what new initiative is being planned a number of challenges always seem to present themselves when actually putting the new system or process in place. It could be a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool, a new way to streamline workflow, a reorganization, or a completely new approach to serving clients.
Whatever the challenge, we at CCG recognize that there are a number of contributing factors to implementation challenges. We offer support in the development of implementation strategies.
We offer implementation support in the following key areas:
Managing change can be defined as moving from one state to another, usually from a perceived problem state to a perceived solved state. One of the challenges with this change of state is that often the subjects or targets of the change are not always convinced that there is a problem.
We start by doing an analysis of the readiness for change and identify the problem and also the extent to which it is recognized. We also feel that it is important to set goals and plan for a transition where for a time both old and new co-exist so that a smooth transition can be accomplished. Careful planning is accompanied by efforts to involve all stakeholders and obtain support and commitment. The net effect is a transition from one state to another in a planned, orderly fashion.
Vision Development
The development of a clear and compelling vision is crucial to provide staff with clarity on what the organizational goals and aspirations are. We help organizations develop clarity in their vision and establish direct linkage to strategic and operational plans.
Values Implementation
Values are the fundamental building blocks upon which we build our societal and organizational structures. CCG is committed to supporting organizations as they identify, understand, and integrate their chosen values. We can help you shift from good to great by moving through the three stages of Values Implementation:
Identification
Understanding
Integration
Engagement
Organizational change appears to be the only predictable element in leadership today. The scope and nature of change, however, continues to evolve. Engagement is the new organizational imperative and is foundational to making change work.
People who are disengaged, who are just going through the motions at work, have little interest in ensuring successful change. For a number of years, demographic projections have suggested that we will be facing extreme labour shortages, particularly in the arena of knowledge workers. The emerging challenge however, is that even when you can enlist employees, they are often not fully engaged in the work that they do. The issue is not so much one of labour shortage, but rather one of “engagement shortage.” ...more
